Creatures of the Abyssopelagic Zone

It is said that humans have more knowledge about the infinite universe than about the ocean below. Three-quarters of the area of the deep-ocean floor lies in the Abyssopelagic Zone The water stretches over 6,000 ft. deep. In this article, I am going to write about one layer and one topic of the vast ocean. I will cover an overview of the animals whose home is in the Abyssal layer.

On July 29, 2025, at 7:25 p.m. EDT the sixth biggest earthquake in history unfolded. It was caused by the Pacific tectonic plate slipping beneath the North American plate. This fault slipped up to 30 feet! Even though it was the sixth biggest earthquake in human history, the damage was not too severe.
